Set up your hub
Power, network, the app, and adding your first device.

- Place the hub centrally, off the floor and away from large metal objects, so Z-Wave and Zigbee devices around the home can reach it.
- Connect power and network. Use the Ethernet cable where you can; Wi-Fi is fine for most homes.
- Install the Novon app, sign in or create your account, and choose Add hub. The app finds the hub on your network and links it to your home.
- Wait for the first update. A new hub may download an update and restart; the app shows progress.
- Add a device: in the app choose Devices → Add, put the device in pairing mode (see its quick-start card) and follow the prompts. See Pairing Z-Wave devices.
Once a device shows in the app you can control it, add it to a scene, or build a Flow.
