Steps
Variable is
Compare a value remembered by "Set variable", or a value of the trigger
And step — Only continue if…. Step type and-variable.
How it works
Continues only if a flow variable — or a trigger value such as trigger.friendlyState — is set, equals a value, is any of (or none of) a list, or compares numerically. Variables are written by "Set variable" and can be shared across flows.
Example
Time of day (7:00 AM) → Variable is (vacation is not set) → Control devices (coffee maker on)No coffee brewed while you are on holiday.

Two exits: true (the default connection) and false (drawn dashed). Connect a step to the second exit to handle the other case.
