Steps
Day parts
Morning, day, evening… one exit per period — plus Away and No period when watching presence
When step — What starts the flow. Step type when-presence-scheduler.
How it works
Splits the week into named periods (Morning, Day, Evening, Night…), each with its own exit, fired when that period becomes the active one; No period fires when nothing is active. Watching a presence adds an Away exit when it leaves and re-evaluates the period on arrival. When periods overlap, the first listed wins.
Example
Day parts (watching Household) → Evening: Activate scene (Warm lamps) → Night: Control devices (lights off) → Away: Activate scene (Everything off)The home follows the time of day while someone is in, and shuts down when everyone leaves.
